Why we have too few women leaders

For all you working mothers out there…

You might have read about – or even read – Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s book Lean In but if you, like me, haven’t got around to actually picking it up and taking it with you on the daily commute I can highly recommend her TED talk on the subject of ‘Why we have too few women leaders’:

One child at home, another on its way and a job that I love has made me increasingly attentive to the extent to which women at all levels and all sectors grapple with the quest to combine motherhood and a fulfilling career. 1)      Sit at the table

2)      Make your partner a real partner

3)      Don’t leave before you leave
