RETAIL WEEK AWARD WINNER 2015 – CUSTOMER INSIGHT INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR TRUTH & JOHN LEWIS
On Thursday 22nd October Truth and John Lewis were joint winners of the Retail Week Customer Insight Initiative of the Year 2015. This was one of the awards given to star performers, across a range of categories, at the Customer Experience Awards Ceremony held in London.
The award was given in recognition of the extensive collaborative work focused around making the customer base more real, defined, accessible and influential within the JL business. Over the years, Truth has won a number of awards and been highly recommended for many others. This award is particularly pleasing because ‘customer experience’ is a major part of what we do as a business. To be part of a team helping to build a deeper, richer customer experience for one of Britain’s most iconic brands is a rare event and one that has brought us immense satisfaction.
We are constantly evolving the way we look at customer journeys and experiences; we have to evolve because people change and the challenges facing our clients change and intensify. However, it is an unerring truth that at the heart of our challenge is the need to see customers for what they are – real people, human beings. Once we step outside crude classifications – consumers, customers, shoppers etc. – and start to see people for what they are, it’s amazing how much more insightful we can become. Our work with John Lewis has been based on this belief and industry acknowledgement is very welcome.
