Pathfinder: an adventure at the intersection of design and business

Having good ideas is relatively easy. Yet, a lot of ideas fail to come to fruition. What often happens is that traditionally we try to predict what the future will be like, and then work backwards to build our business plans and supporting hypothesis.

The issue is: quite often these predictions are wrong.

So, how could we maximise our chances for success when developing new products and services? Pathfinder, a comics-style hero, will take us through simple approaches that reduce the risk of failure, while enhancing the value that ideas can bring to businesses.

By relying on design thinking and approaches such as Discovery Driven Planning (aka DDP…), he will show how we can prototype and validate business models, underlying assumptions and ultimately the ideas we are trying to ship. This means getting to market faster, with less risk.
